Every day struggling to understand sometimes even how to function.  Simple tasks can be cumbersome. Dementia and Alzheimer's comes in many different forms.  
On the summer solstice, The Longest Day, is a campaign to raise awareness and funds for The Alzheimer's Association.  CountryHouse in Kearney contacted Platte Valley Auto and other businesses to see if they can deliver lunches for a free will donation.

Looking around the tables towards the end of the NCC summer feedlot tour, the sight was amazing.  It was a glimpse of our future ag leaders and the support behind them.

While the Nebraska Cattlemen's Classic is over, the work continues year round.  These students all bought an animal at the classic, and are in the running for scholarship dollars. Platte Valley Auto was able to take part and support this program, as well as explain how our service after the sale keeps those in the ag industry and in many businesses moving forward…
